IBA at Trade IT 2011

On October 27, IBA participated in Trade IT’2011, the 2nd international forum on information technologies in the services and trade sector.

The event became a discussion platform for IT vendors and customers who were able to share their views and experience.

Trade IT 2011 focused on practical presentations that allowed for demonstrating certain IT products and solutions, and for better informing consumers about products’ functioning, and results and benefits of their implementation.

The event gathered more than 250 executives and representatives of governmental bodies, service–type businesses, companies engaged in wholesale and retail trade and logistics, manufacturers and suppliers of consumer goods, local and foreign IT companies, scientific and research institutions.

The plenary session opened with a welcoming address by Valery Birin, Director of the IBA Division of Management Systems.

Since 2000, IBA has implemented multiple projects for Eastern European enterprises of wholesale and retail trade.

At Trade IT’2011, IBA delivered the following presentations:

  • Aims and Results of Automation: “IBA:Commercial Enterprise Management 8” by Valery Birin, Director of the IBA Division of Management Systems
  • Wholesale Warehouse Management Using Wi–Fi Technology by Alexander Milay, Director of the IBA Integrated Enterprise Management Systems Engineering Department
  • New Quality of EDM systems: Mobile Applications and Cloud Technologies by Vladimir Bankovich, Deputy Head of the IBA EDM Systems Development Department.

In addition, Pavel Belkevich, Head of the Management Systems Automation Department, delivered a presentation on distributed automated management system successfully implemented by IBA.
