Minsk Computer Production Association celebrates its 50th anniversary
This year the plant of computing machines known today as JSC “MPOVT” celebrates the 50th anniversary of its foundation.
The enterprise's history started in 1956, when the USSR's government made a decision to build a computer production plant in Minsk. At present, JSC “MPOVT” is one of the key Belarusian producers of switching systems, computer aids, and consumer durables.
IBA heartily congratulates the MPOVT team with the jubilee.
The letter of congratulation says: "Half a century is not just a good round figure. It is a whole epoch when the world around us has changed much and for the better. We believe that in many respects these changes happened thanks to your efforts. Only pioneers know the price of bearing this honorary title. Your enterprise that started the IT development in our country has passed a long and difficult way working diligently for the better future and being far ahead of your time ".
