Belarusian Companies at CeBIT 2005
From March 10 to March 16, several Belarusian companies participated in CeBIT 2005, the world's largest IT exhibition that was held in Hannover, Germany. Gerhard Schroeder, German Chancellor, opened the event with a welcoming address. More than 6, 700 companies and organizations from 69 countries participated in the trade show this year. The event presented the most up–to–date information and telecommunication (ICT) solutions to visitors and guests.
For the first time in the CeBIT history, a separate hall was dedicated to outsourcing, one of the most promising business models of the intensively developing ICT sector. IBA and Epam Systems exhibited as part of the 200 sq. m. stand organized jointly by RUSSOFT (Russia), IT–Ukraine and National Infopark (Belarus). Itransition and SaM–Solutions had stands in the IT Outsourcing&Consulting Hall. ITOS exhibited in the pavilion of Enterprise Applications (ERP, CRM, SCM), while Sakrament, developer of voice solutions for the Russian language, in the Fixed Line Hall.
