Grodno State University to Implement IBA Proprietary Tool
On June 7, the Belarusian State University (BSU) and the Grodno State University (GRSU) signed an agreement on cooperation in the area of informatization of educational process. Vasily Strazhev, the BSU rector, and Yevgeny Rovba, the GRSU rector, signed the document at the official meeting of representatives of both universities and IBA.
The Grodno State University is going to use e–University , the IBA proprietary tool, to organize and control students' independent work, and to develop unified e–manuals and courses.
The participants spoke about the importance of using IT in education. According to Mr. Strazhev, “distant education is an important direction of work for the world's best institutes of higher education” and “is likely to become the national project”.
