IBA Group President Elected Infopark Council Chairman
On May 31, the Council of the scientific and technological association Infopark held its session. At the meeting, Sergei Levteev, IBA Group President, was elected the Chairman of the Council.
IBA became the Infopark member in September 2005, and since then has been taking an active part in all the events organized by Infopark.
Speaking about coordination of actions between the Belarusian IT companies Mr. Levteev said: "Cooperation and consolidation of efforts are the phenomena typical for the IT industry on the whole. The aim of the cooperation is to raise competitive capacity of the innovative industries of the Belarusian economy and to increase exports". According to Mr. Levteev, Infopark is able to consolidate the efforts of IT companies in implementing large–scale projects, and is a comfortable ground for business data exchange. The association works in close cooperation with universities, banks and ministries of the Republic of Belarus.
