IBA At Russian IT Season in Chicago
On September 22, IBA participated in the sixth Russian IT Season that was held in Chicago, Illinois, US. Organized by Russoft, the Russian IT association, the event brought together business executives from the United States and Eastern Europe.
Representatives of nine leading IT companies from Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus participated in the event, namely IBA, Luxoft, Fortess, SoftAge, Bonus Technology, Intetics, VDI, Business Computers Group, and BORLAS Group. More than 30 US IT executives from medium–sized technology companies formed the US part of the audience. Over 80 B2B meetings were arranged in the second half of the event aimed at forging potential business relationships.
The program included a seminar and B2B discussions. The seminar featured presentations and case studies giving insight into the latest outsourcing trends and presenting views on the development of the Russian IT market, and prospects and challenges of cooperation between the United States and the CIS in the IT field.
The general sponsor of the event, IBA delivered a presentation on the benefits of outsourcing to Eastern and Central Europe and held 10 meetings with prospective clients.
The Russian IT Season was a good opportunity for IBA to present its services to the US business community and the matchmaking format of the event allowed for the maximum return on the invested time.
