Seminar on Banking Systems IT Transformation
On November 15, IBA Group jointly with the UK National Outsourcing Association (NOA) conducted a seminar entitled “Banking Systems IT Transformation” that was held in London, Great Britain. Banking system and business process transformation, new IT solutions, and expansion of outsourcing services in the financial sector were the focus of the event.
The seminar brought together business executives from Eastern European banks and bank associations, and representatives of the British IT community.
Famous IT vendors, including MISYS, SAP, and Symantec, known as trustworthy suppliers of IT solutions for retail banking, financial, and business continuity management, delivered presentations on new banking information technologies and solutions. A number of recognized consultants from TPI, Orbys Consulting, Deloitte, and KPMG imparted their abundant experience in projects implementation and service provision in outsourcing and transformation of banking IT systems within the specialized Transformational Outsourcing Session. A dinner sponsored by MISYS closed the program of the seminar.
IBA Group made two presentations about our company, its experience in IT systems migration and IT Transformational Outsourcing (ITRO). The presentations encouraged follow–up meetings with Misys, TPI and KPMG. Practical cooperation areas with banking IT vendors and leading outsourcing advisers were outlined during these meetings. In addition, IBA Group delegation participated in the National Outsourcing Association's 3rd Annual Outsourcing Summit. A number of British companies showed their interest in developing cooperation with IBA Group.
