Tourism in IBA: Tourist Festival
To work efficiently and with pleasure, a person needs a friendly atmosphere, comfortable working conditions, possibilities for professional growth, and social security. To summarize, one needs to feel confidence in the future.
IBA cares about its talented and qualified personnel. The company encourages a healthy way of life. It owns several gymnasiums and rents additional sport facilities.
From July 21 to July 23, more than 80 IBA employees gathered for the first IBA tourist festival. Six teams competed in seven sports: hurdle race, bicycle tourism, boating, rope–pulling, volley–ball, darts, and weight–lifting. Contest results were summed up both for teams and individuals.
The team “Balamuty” (Trouble–Makers) headed by Venyamin Kazimirovski took the first place, while “Nomer 1” (Number One) led by Alexey Alexandrovich the second, and “Gretskiy Orekh” (Walnut) led by Oleg Fenko the third. The third–place winner also received the prize “The Best Team Style”.
After the contests, the awarding ceremony was held. The winning teams and their captains received diplomas and prizes. Other participants in the tourist festival received funny prizes for winning in “informal categories”: the best campfire singer, the youngest tourist, the chief wrangler, and the life–guard. All participants were awarded IBA gifts.
