Quality Management
To provide clients with the best possible services and solutions, IBA has designed and implemented its Quality Management System that complies with the latest international standards.
In October 2003, IBA was among the first in the world to achieve the Software Engineering Institute's CMMI® Level 4 Maturity Rating. The appraisal was conducted by experts representing Gartner Group, Inc. and TeraQuest Metrics, Inc. CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integrated) is a business model that serves as the standard for software development and management. A CMMI rating provides for the organization's recognition as a quality provider of systems engineering, software engineering, and IT services. It also gives the company the ability to predict cost, schedule, and performance for its projects, as well as attract and retain highly skilled and motivated professionals.
In December 2001, IBA received DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 certificates for design, development, production, and maintenance of computer software and for maintenance and support of hardware and banking systems. In May 2010, IBA recertified its QMS to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008. The certificates were issued by the Belarusian State Institute for Certification and Standardization. This national certification body was accredited by TGA and later by DAkkS, the world–known German Accreditation Body.
In addition, IBA became the first IT company in Belarus to certify to STB 18001–2009 that corresponds to the international standard OHSAS 18001. The IBA Technical Center certified to OHSAS 18001 its labor safety management system for the production of IBA PCs, servers, and information and payment terminals, as well as for the maintenance and support of hardware and banking systems.
In August 2009, the IBA's development center in the Czech Republic IBA CZ certified to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009 for design and development of computer software. In October 2011, IBA CZ certified its information security and IT services systems to ISO/IEC27001 and ISO/IEC20000–1, respectively.
In March 2010, IBA certifed to EMV™ Specifications, a global standard for credit and debit payment cards based on chip card technology.
