IBA Minsk

IBA Minsk is a major IBA Group’s software development center that employs the greater part of the company's IT and business professionals. The software development center is located in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. IBA Minsk was formed in 1993 as a joint venture between IBM and two leading Belarusian IT enterprises, namely NIIEVM (Scientific Computer Research Institute) and MPOVT (Computer Production Association). In 1999, IBM withdrew as a part owner, however, remains a strategic business partner. IBA Minsk served as a foundation and starting point for the creation of IBA Group.

The IBA Minsk's traditions go back to the days when first IBM mainframes came to life. Presently, the IBA Minsk team is composed of gray-haired gurus and young developers, which results in a unique synergy of experience and innovation. Migration of legacy systems to advanced computer platforms became a key area of focus for the company. For many of its clients, such migration served as a transformation vehicle to address new opportunities.

Aiming for international recognition, IBA Minsk modified its business processes, infrastructure, and project management and quality assurance systems. IBA was among the first in Belarus to receive an ISO 9001 certificate and among the first in the world to achieve the SEI CMMI Level 4 Maturity Rating. In 1999, 2002, 2005, and 2010, the Belarusian Government awarded IBA Minsk for achievements in quality assurance. A combination of dedication, training, talent, professionalism, and creativity became keys to the IBA Minsk success.

IBA Gomel

IBA Gomel began operations on July 26, 2001, while the official opening was held on December 13, 2001. IBA Gomel is located in the second largest city of Belarus within the free economic zone Gomel-Raton.

IBA Gomel offers a wide range of software services including consulting, development, migration, maintenance, and support. The company provides cost-effective and high quality services both in custom software and legacy system reengineering. IBA Gomel is capable of implementing all or any stages of the software project lifecycle: Concept - Implementation - Maintenance - Support - Upgrade.

IBA Gomel holds DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 certificate for design, development, production, and maintenance of computer software and the national STB ISO 9001-2009. The IBA Gomel client base includes IBM, T-Systems, Lupus GmbH (Germany), Belarus Metal Works, Mozyr Petroleum Refinery, Gomel Branch of the Belarusian Railway, Gomelglass, Neftegazsystema (Belarus), and KRANEKS Machine Building Company (Russia).

IBA CZ

Founded in 1999 in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, IBA CZ is an innovative software development center that is experiencing rapid growth. Currently, the IBA CZ IT professionals work in Prague and Brno, the second largest city of the Czech Republic.

IBA CZ provides software development and maintenance services to customers in Central Europe. Its skilled professionals have extensive experience in system and application development for different computer platforms. The development center focuses on custom software development, offering advanced IT solutions primarily in the e-business area, using the most modern J2EE and .NET technologies. IBA CZ produces high quality products with significant cost savings for its clients. In August 2009, IBA CZ certified to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009 for design and development of computer software. In October 2011, IBA CZ certified its information security and IT services systems to ČSN ISO/IEC27001 and ČSN ISO/IEC20000–1, respectively.

IT Park

IT Park was founded as a part of IBA Group in August 2006 and became a resident of the Belarusian High-Tech Park  in February 2007. IT Park was established to increase IBA Group export capacity in Belarus and to represent the company in the Belarusian Silicon Valley.

IT Park activities include:

• Engineering and development of mainframe software and of client-server architecture software for different computer platforms
• Development and maintenance of business applications’ migration processes.

IBA Gomel Park

IBA Gomel Park was founded as an IBA Group development center in November 2008. In May 2009, IBA Gomel Park became a resident of the Belarusian High-Tech Park. IBA Gomel Park offers a wide range of services including design, development, and maintenance of applied software for customers from the CIS, Western Europe, and the US. IBA Gomel Park activities include:

• Development and integration of applications based on IBM WebSphere Portal and IBM DB2 portal technologies and products
• Development and implementation of IBM Lotus Domino/Notes - based applications.

IBA Kazakhstan

In June 2011, IBA Group opened a development center (DC) in Astana, Kazakhstan. IBA Kazakhstan is the subsidiary and the seventh DC of IBA Group.

IBA Kz, a representative office of IBA Group in Kazakhstan, opened  in July 2010. Creation of IBA Kazakhstan DC is aimed at:

• Strengthening partnership relations with IBA customers in Kazakhstan
• Improving the quality of IBA services
• Increasing response efficiency while working with user inquiries.

The Kazakhstan's legal environment requires employing local experts for implementation of IT projects at strategically important Kazakh enterprises and organizations. Before the launch of IBA Kazakhstan DC in Astana, IBA Group mainly involved experts from Belarusian DCs to implement IT projects in Kazakhstan. Today, the Astana development center brings IBA Group closer to its customers in Central Asia.
