Migration and Signal Processing ProjectsIndustry Customer Our customer is a switching and routing division of a world leader in telecommunications Project Overview The following projects were implemented at the request of a Switching and Routing Division of our customer:
The projects involved migration tools between different platforms and algorithms to process digital signals (AD21xxx and TMS6000). Project Execution Migration of INMOS Toolkit The project was implemented by a team of three experts who worked remotely from an IBA offshore development center. The tasks were:
Environment: Sun Solaris, ANSI C compiler, Linker, Library Builder, Debugger, and other tools. The project was successfully delivered in April 2000. PL/1 — UNIX/C Migration The project was implemented by a team of three experts who worked remotely from an IBA offshore development center. The task was to migrate VM applications in PL/1 to Sun Solaris in C programming language. Environment: Sun Solaris, ANSI C compiler, Linker, Library Builder, Debugger, and other tools. The project was completed successfully in December, 2000. MISS Development The project was implemented by a team of three IBA specialists who worked remotely from an IBA offshore development center. The task was to develop Mobile Interworking Simulator System based on PC platform. The system was designed to provide user interface and control functions for test equipment. Environment: Windows NT, MS Visual C++, MFC, and RS232 Serial Communication. The project was successfully completed in October 2001. UMTS Transcoder The project was implemented by IBA programmer who worked onsite in Germany. The task was to develop additional features for UMTS transcoder. These features were implemented as standard algorithms for TMS6000 using TMS Code Composer Studio. Environment: TMS Code Composer Studio The project was completed successfully in May, 2001. DSPA Enhancements The project was implemented by an IBA programmer who worked onsite in Germany. The task was to provide onsite support for the DSPA application. The support included application enhancement and documentation update to reflect the modifications. Environment: DSP AD2100 Project Results The IBA teams showed their professional excellence when implementing these projects. In a short time period, they mastered the specific hardware (signal processors) with which the projects dealt. The work was done on schedule and within budget. A number of modules were commissioned prior to the deadlines set up in the schedule. |
