Quality Management

In October 2003, IBA was among the first in the world to achieve the Software Engineering Institute’s CMMI® Level 4 Maturity Rating. The appraisal was conducted by experts representing Gartner Group, Inc. and TeraQuest Metrics, Inc. CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integrated) is a business model that serves as the standard for software development and management. A CMMI rating provides for the organization’s recognition as a quality provider of systems engineering, software engineering, and IT services. It also gives the company the ability to predict cost, schedule, and performance for its projects, as well as attract and retain highly skilled and motivated professionals.

In December 2001, IBA received DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 certificates for design, development, production, and maintenance of computer software and for maintenance and support of hardware and banking systems. In May 2010, IBA recertified its QMS to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.

In August 2009, the IBA’s development center in the Czech Republic IBA CZ certified to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009 for design and development of computer software. In October 2011, IBA CZ certified its information security and IT services systems to ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 20000–1, respectively.

In March 2010, IBA certifed to EMV™ Specifications, a global standard for credit and debit payment cards based on chip card technology.

IBA implemented an up-to-date system of information security management for design, development, production, and maintenance of software and automated information systems. The system complies with the requirements of STB ISO/IEC 27001-2016 that is identical to the international ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard.

In 2012 and 2015, IBA Kz certified its systems of quality management, environmental management, and management of occupational safety and health to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS 18001:2007, respectively.

In 2018, IBA KZ certified its systems of quality management and environmental management to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, respectively.

In 2018, IBA Group a.s. certified its QMS to the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and STB ISO 9001:2015.

In 2019, IBA Group verified the conformity of the implemented system of the information security of software design, development and support to the requirements of STB ISO/IEC 27001-2016.
