“Since June 2008, IBA Group specialists have been working on the creation and modification of a national automated tax collection system. The centralized tax collection system that was developed within the Special State Program of the Republic of Belarus provides tax rate calculation, electronic declaration, tax accounting, and business analytics functions. In addition, the system incorporates a web portal of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties. All subsystems of the tax collection system were put into operation. The new system provides centralized tax accounting and performs interaction with tax payers and state governing bodies through electronic document management. To date, more than 100,000 tax payers use the system and it is capable of sustaining up to 10,000 concurrent users. IBA Group has been executing all obligations under the contracts, meeting the requirements of the technical specifications. “From June 2008 to September 2011, IBA created the automated information system Tax Calculation. In December 2008, six months after the project start, IBA launched a beta version of the E–Declaration system. In April 2009, the system was launched in commercial operation. The implementation of the system allowed for:

  • Reducing the time of preparing and filing tax statements for taxpayers
  • Improving the quality of the information provided by the taxpayers
  • Increasing the efficiency of taxation bodies.

To date, more than 60 000 taxpayers use the system, and the number of users is constantly growing. Over the years 2009–2011, IBA maintained the system, including introduction of updates to meet the changes in tax laws and other regulations. Creation of all the Tax Calculation's subsystems is completed with fair observance of the project plans and contract terms despite the complicated economic situation in the country. “I'd like to take the time to thank IBA for the work they completed for us on a new compliance tool. Many of our clients had voiced a need for a tool that would help them control who had access to their applications. There were a few tools that helped with this, but no tool that did all of the work needed and most of these tools were very hard to use.  Many of our clients found it easier to manually perform all necessary tasks (which was very time consuming) than to use the existing tools. The IBA team came up with a design that covered all standards, concerns and issues.  From that they were able to give a sizing to the effort required.  This sizing was easily converted into a schedule. They created a presentation that we went to the client with for approval to begin work.  This presentation was of extremely high quality.  All clients gave the approval to continue the development. Tasks were created and assigned,  a communication vehicle was set up, and the work began. The IBA team was up to the challenge! The work was completed on schedule!  To show the interface to the clients, IBA suggested that we set up a Lotus Live meeting and demonstrate the tool itself, rather than make a presentation.  This turned out to be exactly the right thing to do.  After our demo all clients were given the application to test.  The testing results were amazing, The clients only came back with a few suggestions of changes — no errors — no misses! Working with the IBA ream is a pleasure each and every day!  I can depend on them to get the job done no matter the obstacles.  There is nothing that can make a project manager feel more comfortable than to have one of their team mates suggest that another course of action might be better.  They are always very professional, courteous, polite, and a joy to work with! “Put into operation in November 2008, the Milavitsa Information and Analytical Management System (IAMS) comprises basic Axapta 3.0 functionality and the functions that IBA developed at the request of JV JSC Milavitsa. IAMS is integrated with other management systems functioning at Milavitsa. These systems are based on FoxPro and Delphi/MS SQL (export/import of files of a preset size). The total number of management systems with which IAMS is integrated is five.

The IAMS implementation enabled us to:

  • Optimize the movements of raw materials through automatic calculation within a technological process. The legacy automated systems were capable of calculation within a production order and could not provide the required efficiency and precision of movements of raw materials and semi–finished goods. The introduction of the new system allowed us to abandon the use of limit–collection cards.

“IBA Group completed the project on the implementation of a prototype–based information management system for Gazprom Transgaz Belarus (GTB). On a tight schedule, the IBA PM (Plant Maintenance) team automated the main business processes of equipment maintenance and repair based on the standard SAP PM functionality. As a result, GTB is able to:

  • Maintain a database of all GTB equipment while ensuring data consistency and reliability. The hierarchical structures of functional locations and equipment items enabled the users to plan and manage PM events efficiently. The company’s tax accounting became more efficient with the SAP ERP-based automated system that allows for calculating value-added tax (VAT), income tax, excise duties, real estate tax, and foreign corporation income tax. “IBA Group creates an information management system for Gazprom Transgaz Belarus (GTB). IBA implements the project using SAP ECC 6.0, BI, PI, BO, MDM and SM. In 2012, a prototype of the information management system was created based on the solutions that specify the automation of business processes in line with the procedures of the parent company and in compliance with the requirements of the Belarusian legislation. In 2014, the system was successfully launched according to the project calendar schedule. “Belarusian Railway jointly with your company implemented functionality of the Template Accounting System based on SAP ERP, enabling us to maintain financial accounting and tax accounting in a single system, unify accounting operations, and make the accounting transparent for BR management. “Since August 2011, IBA has been executing a project on the implementation of an automated system to manage maintenance and repair operations at Interregional Distributive Grid Company of Urals (IDGC of Urals). To date, the following stages of the project using SAP ERP 2005 are completed:

“In the period from January 2012 to July 2012, specialists of IBA Group have been executing a project on the implementation of an automated system to manage investment activities at Ekaterinburg Electric Grid Company. Based SAP ERP and Oracle Primavera, the functionality of the system includes:

  • Creation and maintaining of databases of normative and reference information
  • Formation of an investment program, including creating and maintaining of applications for an investment event, creating and maintaining of the structure of an investment program, creating and maintaining of cost accounting objects (PSP elements), and creating and maintaining of projects in Oracle Primavera
  • Control over execution of an investment program (internal and external)
  • Calculation of a PSP cost with its subsequent transfer to a fixed asset (transfer of an object cost to a PSP element, generation of an AUC card, and settlement of an AUC to a fixed asset)
  • Integration of the technical systems SAP BW, SAP ERP, Oracle Primavera, and Alt Invest in a unified solution.

From January 2012 to May 2012, a conceptual design of the system was performed. Beginning June 2012, the Implementation Stage is underway.
