Utilities and Power Engineering
IBA Group has extensive experience in the implementation of Business Process Management (BPM), Enterprise Content Management (ECM), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems at power engineering giants. The company optimized and automated key business functions at organizations in the energy sector.
Since 2009, IBA Group has been cooperating with the Interregional Distributive Grid Company of Urals (IDGC of Urals). IDGC of Urals is an operating company that transports energy using electric networks (0.4–110 kV) and provides technological connection to electric networks in the Ural region (Russia).
In collaboration with the customer, IBA Group automated financial and economic activity at IDGC of Urals using SAP ERP, migrated the automation system that had been in operation for over 17 years from SAP R / 3 to SAP ERP 6.0, and unified business processes across the company’s branches and integrated various systems of IDGC of Urals using IBM WebSphere ESB. In addition, IBA created a system that manages investment and capital construction projects and a repair control system built on SAP EM to manage technical servicing and maintenance. Further on, a system of parallel accounting that meets the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Russian Accounting Principles (Russian GAAP) was deployed.
IBA Group automated the process of technical connection of companies and organizations to power networks using IBM FileNet. The application covered the following processes:
- Creation of applications for technical connection
- Document status tracking
- Formation of managerial reports on technical connection
- Integration with SAP and other information systems via web services.
Based on the SAP ERP system developed for IDGC of Urals, IBA performed consolidation of management systems for financial and economic activities and deployed an investment and accountability management system at Yekaterinburg Electric Grid Company, Russia.
In addition, IBA Group implemented a technical and economic planning system at a large-scale Belarusian power engineering enterprise. This data analysis system is based on the OLAP technology and serves to automate the distributed corporate planning at the enterprise. The system also provides situational modeling and reporting (capital budget, expenditure budget, and other).
As a subcontractor, IBA Group implemented a solution that integrated Data Boxes with the File Service and IBM FileNet systems for ČEZ, the largest energy group in the Czech Republic and across Central Europe.
