IBA Group conducts IBA Security Day 2014
On September 20, IBA Group in cooperation with Check Point and RRC Group conducted a workshop entitled IBA Security Day 2014 in Minsk, Belarus.
The workshop was designed to inform about new IT security tools for enterprises, discuss general principles of security system creation, and present IT security products by Check Point, Imperva, and Splunk.
The workshop was intended for technical experts, security administrators, and heads of technical departments. More than 70 representatives of 27 companies and organizations of Belarus attended the event.
During the seminar, the experts of IT companies spoke about best practices and advanced technologies. The speakers offered their recommendations and solutions in information security of an enterprise.
At the seminar, IBA delivered a presentation of the company's long–term cooperation with Check Point and shared the experience of applying Check Point solutions to protect the company's networks.
Check Point Russia provided an overview of the company's products intended for complete protection of enterprise networks and presented:
- Concept of Software–defined Protection (SDP), which helps to protect organizations in today's fast–evolving IT and threat landscape
- Check Point technology of threat prevention and emulation to block zero–day threats
- Check Point approach to centralized management and decision making on appliance or software solutions
- Check Point Security CheckUp report.
RRC Group spoke about products and solutions for information security, including the products intended for comprehensive data protection in data processing centers.
The presentations were followed by a round table discussion and a networking.
