IBA Group Supports Young IT Talents in Belarus

On April 27, 2017, the finals of the 7th BSUIR Open Championship in Collegiate Programming was held in Minsk, Belarus. As a part of its CSR program, IBA Group provided financial and technical support to the event.

This year, the championship gathered more than 350 teams from ten countries. More than 50 student and school teams from Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan reached the competition's finals.

The St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO) won the first place followed by Belarusian SUIR #2, the team of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR), and #Team Work, the team of the Belarusian State University (BSU) with their second and third places, respectively.

IBA Group participated in the awards ceremony. Vadim Bogush, First Deputy Minister of Education, sent IBA Group a letter of thanks for the support of the 7th BSUIR Open Championship in Programming.

The BSUIR team will represent Belarus at the finals of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM ICPC) that will take place from May 20 to May 25 in Rapid City, South Dakota, USA.

In addition, IBA Group received a letter of thanks from Raisa Sidorenko, Deputy Minister of Education, for the support of the Belarusian national programming contest that was held in Grodno, Belarus.
