IBM SPSS Modeler at IBA–BSU IT Competence Center

On April 12, a group of sixteen students of the Belarusian State University (BSU) who successfully completed the course in IBM SPSS Modeler received IBM certificates at the IBA–BSU IT Competence Center. IBA conducted a 30–hour course in IBM SPSS Modeler for the students of the BSU Faculties of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Mathematics and Mechanics, and Economics.

In 2011, IBA Group and BSU established the IBA–BSU IT Competence Center. With support from IBA, BSU joined the SAP University Alliance partner program in 2012 and the IBA–BSU IT Competence Center was appointed as SAP Academic Competence Center.

The IT Competence Center helps students and teachers obtain consistent competencies in IT, economy, finance, and accounting. In addition, the center conducts specialized courses within the university programs of SAP, IBM, Microsoft, and 1C. Currently, a number of students who successfully completed the IT courses joined the IBA team.
