IBA Group Presents at Mastering SAP Conference in South Africa

From April 14 to April 16, IBA Group participated in the Mastering SAP 2019 conference in Johannesburg, South Africa. The event brought together more than 600 SAP customers, partners, and thought leaders.

Mastering SAP is home to the following four independent conferences:

• Technologies
• Business Analytics
• HR & Payroll
• Finance.

Each conference had its own hot topics, schedule, and speakers. The program consisted of nine tracks and 100+ sessions. The presentations were grouped into All, FIN, HR&P, BA, and Tech. Therefore, companies and attendees were able to choose their relevant communities and IBA Group joined Fin, BA, and Tech.

Cathy Smith from SAP Africa welcomed the audience with an opening address. Her speech was followed by an inspiring presentation that explored biomimicry and lessons learned from nature for the future of technology and business.

Afterwards, speakers shared their experience of improving BI & Analytics user adoption, automating customers’ business processes using SAP, converting in-house systems to S/4 HANA, implementing SuccessFactors and IoT, applying Agile to facilitate business adoption and user experience, and using SAP Analytics Cloud. The real and demystified world of RPA was also among the focus areas.

IBA Group made a presentation entitled BPC Embedded / Optimized. The Satellites of Your S/4. Why should You Launch One? Dimitri Denissiouk, Managing Director at IBA South Africa, spoke about automation of a planning process using BPC on S/4 and ECC. The experience embraced three BPC implementations, which were done differently to address specific key requirements from customers and to fit best into their IT landscapes.

In addition, IBA Group had numerous meetings with potential customers at its booth and during networking sessions. The event provided opportunities for mastering new content, networking, and knowledge-sharing.
