Spring 2018 Training Season Winds Up
On May 11, 2018, students of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR) successfully completed the training course System Programming. IBA Group conducted the training at the IBA–BSUIR Academic Center of IBM Competences located in Minsk, Belarus. IBA Group employees congratulated the students with a successful completion of the course and wished them further professional development.
On May 10, 2018, a training course in multiplatform programming for students of BSUIR and the Belarusian State University (BSU) was successfully completed. IBA Group conducted the training for the seventh time. The ceremony of presenting the certificates was held in the IBA–BSU IT Competence Center.
The basic training course was devoted to the development of web-based applications, design of mobile platforms in IBM Mobile First, and working with IBM middleware and server platforms. As part of a supplementary course, the students learnt Linux OS. Six highly experienced IBA Group professionals taught within the program.
As a result, the students who successfully completed two courses were awarded the certificates and 17 of them were invited to join the IBA Group team.
On May 17, the BSUIR students successfully completed the training in software testing.
To join the training, the students had to go through the interview where IBA Group’s technical experts assessed their knowledge of Java EE, SQL, and spoken English. The course lasted three months.
The course consisted of the following parts.
- Introduction to software testing. Planning of strategy and quality
- Introduction to test automation
- The basics of Java programming for test automation professionals
- Selenium Webdriver architecture and operation principles using JUnit
- Automation of web application testing. Report generation
- Performance testing.
The brightest students will be invited to join the IBA Group team.
