IBA Group Completes 2017 Training Season for Belarusian Students
On December 26, a training course in multiplatform programming for students of the Belarusian State University (BSU) was successfully completed. For the sixth time, IBA Group conducted the training in the IBA–BSU IT Competence Center located in Minsk, Belarus.
The basic training course was devoted to various approaches to multiplatform programming, including the development of web-based applications, design of mobile platforms in IBM Mobile First, and working with IBM middleware and server platforms.
Within two additional courses, the students had an opportunity to obtain working knowledge of Linux OS, learn more about application development on IBM DB2 for z / OS, and take an advanced course in SQL.
The program teachers were highly-skilled professionals from IBA Group. Based on the training results, the students who successfully completed all three courses of the program received relevant certificates. Usually, eighty percent of the course graduates receive job offers from IBA Group.
On December 21, students of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR) successfully completed the training course Data Management Technologies. IBA Group conducted the training at the IBA–BSUIR Academic Center of IBM Competences located in Minsk, Belarus.
Within the program, the students learned the fundamentals of BI development, working with business requirements in DWH design, and implemented their own projects in Big Data. The students performed the projects, using the services of IBM Watson, Java and Python programming languages, chat bot technologies, and the latest IBM Bluemix cloud solutions.
The projects resulted in intelligent solutions that allow for finding a soulmate in a required part of the world, displaying a twit that matches a certain mood, retrieving free parking lots in a town, and describing an attitude to your country in different parts of the world.
On December 18, the BSU students completed the training course Design and development of modern analytical systems: DWH, Big Data, and Cloud.
The program of the course consisted of the following parts:
- Advanced study of SQL
- Design and implementation of Data Warehouse (DWH) on IBM DB2
- Development of ETL processes on IBM InfoSphere DataStage
- Big Data analysis on Cloudera Hadoop
- Data processing and analysis in the Microsoft Azure cloud.
On December 15, the BSUIR students successfully completed the training course Fundamentals of Business Analysis in IBM Cognos BI and SAP BO Environment.
The graduates were awarded relevant certificates and the best of them received job offers from IBA Group.
