IBA Group Opens Office in Kazakhstan
On July 1, 2010, a representative office of IBA Group in the Republic of Kazakhstan was legally registered. Kazakhstan became the eighth country in the world where IBA Group has a permanent presence.
Since 1996, IBA Group has been working in Kazakhstan and other countries of Central Asia on major long–term projects. The IBA's clients in the region include the railways of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan; the Ministry of State Revenues of Kazakhstan; and a Kazakh oil refinery.
The second largest country in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and ninth in the world, the Republic of Kazakhstan is a leading consumer of software and IT services. In 2009, the IBA exports to this country amounted to US$0.7million. Currently, the cooperation is being intensified on an extended scale.
In June 2010, IBA was selected the developer of an electronic workflow (EW) system for the state governing bodies of Kazakhstan.
