IBA Group at IBM Lotus 2011 Forum

On September 20, IBA Group participated in the IBM Lotus Forum Smart Cooperation for Efficiency Enhancement. The event was devoted to IBM Lotus products and solutions of IBM Business Partners to increase efficiency of business processes and productivity of work.

The main topics of the forum were how to gain greater efficiency of collaborative work using corporate internal social networks and how to benefit from interactive customers’ communities.

This year, more than 500 IT executives, managers, and specialists attended the event. The forum included a plenary session and three specialized simultaneous sessions that offered 30 presentations on IBM Lotus technologies.

During the subsequent roundtable discussion, IBM experts and business partners argued about the role of social networks in company’s business processes, the influence of social networks on traditional business models, and the changes that companies should undertake to use social media to their good.

In addition, participants in the event discussed future trends and strategies of IBM Lotus development, new features and advantages of IBM solutions for collaborative work, interaction mobility, effective work organization, and creation of social networks.

Visitors to the IBA Group booth were able to learn about:

  • IBA experience of remote maintenance of Lotus systems
  • IBA expertise in development of client applications for tablet computers and Domino server by the example of iBoss.Chancellor mobile application intended for remote work
  • IBA competencies in creation of powerful web interface for Lotus applications and X–Pages technology by the example of the Chancellor Web version.
