Implementation of Odoo 17 CE ERP at Logistic Provider

Background

Our customer is WEIG, an international company that in early 2017 initiated development of a logistics corridor for the transportation of dry cargo from the Central Asia Basin countries to the Black Sea ports via Georgia Basin countries to the Black Sea ports via Georgia. This project aims to optimize logistics processes and increase the efficiency of cargo transportation in the region. 

Project Overview

Based on a modular approach, the project deals with creation of a unified ecosystem for business management, including automation of manual operations and implementation of electronic signature.

Project Execution

When working on the project, IBA Group had to overcome the following challenges.

• Documentation issues. All processes were on paper, which led to inefficiencies and high risks of errors
• Lack of automation. Manual management of tasks and document flow made it difficult to control and track the progress
• Disparate systems. Multiple legacy systems and lack of integration between them posed problems for unification and automation
