IBA Group Presents at Poland & CEE Retail Summit 2024
IBA Group participated in the Poland & CEE Retail Summit 2024, showcasing innovative solutions and expertise. Held from April 9 to April 10 in Warsaw, this conference drew over 3,000 retail professionals and key international FMCG manufacturers. This Poland’s premier retail event focuses on strategies in sustainable development, supply chain management, and other issues that impact the industry’s development in Poland and Eastern Europe.
At the summit, IBA Group presented Managing and Analyzing Data with Modern Technologies by Tomasz Gołębiewski, an expert from IBA Poland. The presentation discussed data chaos challenges in retail and e-commerce, covering integration, scalability, and regulatory compliance. IBA Group’s approach focuses on structured data collection and processing, leveraging traditional and latest technologies. A use case highlighted the effectiveness of the Lakehouse Architecture that offers tangible benefits for a global logistics company. In addition to the Data Management presentation, IBA Group displayed Goods Checker, a SaaS solution for AI-powered analysis of the goods display on store shelves. Utilizing computer vision, Goods Checker analyzes products on shelves, compares them with planograms, and generates real-time, detailed product analytics. This solution automates all stages of merchandising, benefiting FMCG manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.
