IBA Group Presents Goods Checker in Ukraine

IBA Group showcased its Goods Checker, a SaaS solution for AI-powered analysis of the goods display on store shelves, at the Distribution Master conference themed New Reality – Challenges and Solutions. The event that brought together more than 300 attendees from various regions of Ukraine served as a meeting point for manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.

The conference fostered dialogues among all stakeholders in the retail industry, including IT solution providers. Throughout the presentations, experts discussed market development trends, explored new ideas, and shared practical tools for business growth in today’s challenging environment.

One of this year’s conference highlights was effective sales planning and inventory management in modern conditions, where Goods Checker came into play. This solution analyzes photos of products on store shelves, compares their arrangement with planograms, and generates detailed sales analytics. The service also examines prices and promotional materials on the shelves. Processing a single photo takes from 5 to 30 seconds, with recognition accuracy ranging from 95% to 97%.

Goods Checker has a significant potential in the Ukrainian market. It is currently deployed at one of the largest merchandising agencies, where it identifies products on the shelves of more than 4,500 Ukrainian stores. The implementation of this solution has resulted in a 50% reduction in store audit time and a 70% decrease in the time merchandisers spend on reporting.
