IBA Group Offers New Training Courses for University Students

May 28, 2019

In spring this year, IBA Group conducted a training course in system multiplatform programming at the IBA–BSUIR IT Lab located in Minsk, Belarus. The IBA Group professionals shared their knowledge with students of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Belarusian State University, and Belarusian State Academy of Communications. In May, fifteen students received course certificates.

During the 160-hour training course, the students acquired basic skills and knowledge of working with IBM server platforms and Linux OS, learned about web interface development based on open source technologies, and familiarized themselves with administration and programming for IBM relational databases.

Yan Buko, a third-year BSUIR student, said: “I am looking forward to putting the acquired knowledge into practice. Perl, JavaScript, and Bash Scripts are just a few of the things from the course’s comprehensive curriculum that I will definitely make use of. Listing all of them would take up a paragraph in my resume. I also enjoyed a friendly and motivating environment, coupled with well-equipped and comfortable classrooms”.

This year, IBA Group introduced two courses in multiplatform programming. The division of the course into system and applied multiplatform programming helped the coaches to focus on specific subject areas.

IBA Group is planning another eight courses for the current year. The course SAP Technologies in Digital Transformation is the first in the line. The IBA Group courses are a good opportunity to gain free training in sought-after technologies and find a job before graduation. According to 2018 statistics, 87% of students who completed the course in multiplatform programming receive job offers from IBA Group.
