IBA Group Participates in SAP Forums in Baku and Tbilisi

IBA Group participated in two SAP forums in Azerbaijan and Georgia in October and November 2023, highlighting company’s expertise in digital transformation. These events focused on the latest digital trends and business process transformation strategies, along with sharing project implementation experiences.

The SAP Discovery Day Baku, a key event in the series, attracted approximately 400 leaders and SAP specialists from various countries, including Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Georgia. The discussions revolved around digitalization success stories, particularly using SAP S/4HANA, SAP’s flagship solution. The topics covered at the event ranged from customer experience management to logistics, finance, technical services, and personnel management.

Azerbaijan has been actively integrating SAP technologies in both government and private sectors since 2008, streamlining processes such as personnel, financial, and warehouse management across business chains.

At these forums, IBA Group showcased digitalization projects. Igor Bordak, Global Delivery Director – SAP Services at IBA Group, presented a case study of Cellfie Mobile (formerly known as Veon Georgia). This telecom company was the first in Georgia to adopt the Rise with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private edition platform, enhancing its ability to analyze business processes in real time, manage costs effectively, and improve decision-making quality and timeliness.
