Challenge

After IBA Group helped the customer switch to Euro and update its internal information systems, the company needed continued support with its SAP products. It operates around the clock and receives hundreds of fresh produce orders from HORECA businesses daily. Timely updates, steady system performance, and quick team support, when required, are essential to maintaining operations.

Solution

Throughout the project, the IBA Group team completed the following tasks:

  • Supported the timely closure of financial periods (month and year).
  • Updated and modernized SAP systems, maintained stable SAP Basis operations.
  • Kept SAP system performance consistent around the clock.

Additional tasks during the project included:

  • Configure roles and permissions to provide secure access. Employees received different access levels to reduce the risk of data breaches and misuse.
  • Integrate existing systems into the SEPA payment system to support payment processing.
  • Set up SAP Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) Planning Framework to allow the customer to extract data on sales, profit/loss, and costs from modules such as SD, Production, MM. Additionally, the framework helped with internal accounting and decision-making through supporting planning for sales, revenue, and profitability across specific segments.
  • Set up and configure tax reporting.
  • Create automatic payment for suppliers.
  • Analyze the existing SAP ECC system in preparation for the SAP S/4HANA transition.
  • Integrate SAP Enterprise Planning Solution with third-party company systems responsible for logistics and product delivery.

The IBA Group team includes eight specialists, namely six consultants with expertise in MM, SD, CO, FI, FI-AA, WM, PP, and BS, and two SAP developers. The project is conducted remotely, with occasional business trips to the customer’s headquarters.
